New mechanic: Thrill of the Kill stacks!

Thrill of the Kill (Or TotK for short) stacks can be acquired when killing enemies.

Each enemy slain grants one stack, enemies defeated by dagger-exclusive GX or SX skills grant 3 stacks.

Can be stacked up to 50.

Enchanting Shadow: New effect - While active, gains 1 TotK stack every 3 seconds.

Shadow Stab: New effect - Upon landing a critical hit, consume 3 TotK stacks to deal x5 damage.

Savage Impact: New effect - Upon landing a critical hit, consume 3 TotK stacks to deal x5 damage.

Cloaking Exceed: Increased movement speed from 100-140% to 100-300%.

Hallucination Walk: New effect - Upon failing to dodge a skill, consume 5 TotK stacks to dodge it.

Poisons have been also reworked a little bit!

Pyrexia: REWORKED - Now dealing skill damage to the target increases all skill damage dealt by 5%, for a maximum ot 50%.

Death Hurt: REWORKED - Now it increases your next damage depending on how long since you caused damage. Gain 1 stack per second, maximum of 10 stacks, consumes all stacks upon dealing damage. Each stack increases your next damage dealt by 80% (to a maximum of 800%).

Venom Bleed: REWORKED - Now it applies a damage over time on the target upon using basic attacks. Stacks up to 100. At 100 stacks, doubles basic attack damage.

Paralysis: REWORKED - Now it reduces damage dealt by the target by 5% per stack. Stacks up to 10 (total of 50% reduction).

Magic Mushroom: REWORKED - Applies Hallucination Walk when used, reduces HIT of the target by 5% per stack (max 50% at 10 stacks). Dodging has a 33% chance to add a TotK stack.

Poison and TotK stacks are removed upon switching poisons, Hallucination Walks is cancelled upon removing Magic Mushroom poison.

Sky Emperor:

All in the Sky: Reduced damage based on stacks from x2/x4/x8/x15 to x2/x4/x6/x10.

Arch Mage:

Energy Conversion: Now has a proper buff icon to see the duration.

Biolo:

Chemical Injection: All mutagens (including philosopher stone) have received a proper buff icon.

Acidified Zone: All reaction buffs have received a proper buff icon.

Starbot:

Now has a proper buff icon that shows how much Starfuel time you have.

Starbot issue where sometimes it just stops and doesn't cast skills at the target has been fixed.

Channeling System:

Duration is shown in hours instead of days, this is a client limitation.

Damage limits:

We couldn't expect to implement "big crits" with a measly limit of 2.14B damage right?

Damage limits have been increased immensely. To the point you guys will never reach the limit again!

Now damage can be listed in 3 different modes, changed by using @dps 1, 2 or 3.

@dps 1: Compact mode, up to 4 digits and uses comma for separators (Example: 1,253M)

@dps 2: Decimal mode, up to two decimal places. (Example: 81.96M)

@dps 3: Native mode, the normal mode, without separators. (Example: 1253M)

Thanatos Raid:

Telegraphs have been reverted to the yellow telegraphs, albeit no longer clickable.

Telegraphs: No longer affect the direct area in melee range to Thanatos.

Add spawning: Can now spawn through the whole arena. Increased number of spawned adds from 3 to 5.

Pillars: When breaking the incorrect pillar. Thanatos enrages and 100 adds must be defeated in order to restore the pillars. Pillar order is reset upon each mechanic failure.

New mechanic, Anti-idle: If Thanatos senses no enemies around him for a while, he starts to regenerate health rapidly.

Lake of Fire:

Improved performance quite a bit for the client, the amount of crashes and freezes should be immensely reduced.

Kafras:

Storages are now accessible all at once in the Storage window.

They are now separated by tabs on top of the storage window and as you unlock more tabs, they will show up there as well.

Storages now accept items past the stack limit, creating a new stack as you add more of it.

Training Dummies:

Dummies have been updated with new functions.

They can now become a perfect copy of the desired monster, copying damage reductions and every other statistic aside from HP.

They will now measure your DPS to the selected monster showing both your DPS with and without damage reductions, calculating the estimated time to kill.

Hitting above 10B DPS will notice the player to increase the Damage Reduction of the dummy in order to get proper DPS readings.

Exceed Slots are also limited by the Mythic Item type, Mythic Garments will only receive Garment Cards on their Exceed Slot.

Exceed Slots may receive cards the same way as usual, double click your cards and install them on the go!

World Boss:

Reduced the amount of Event Coins earned through World Boss from 100 to 50;

Added a 5% chance to get an Astrolith of Perfection from the reward chest.

Costume rare drops:

Costumes are back to the base percentage drop.

Normal monster costumes drop rate increased from 0.001% to 0.005%.

Drop Rate for certain instantly-respawning minibosses have been reduced to 0.005%.

Global Drops:

Armor Progression System:

Added a Blacksmith NPC to Prontera Square to help progressing through Armor across episodes.

This NPC will reform armors from Grace to Nebula/Rune, while preserving most statistics.

Transformation Gacha:

A brand new system for you guys to play with.

Over 2900 monster transformations. You may pay 1M Zeny to roll for a random one, but beware: The cost doubles every time!

Costs revert back to 1M every midnight. Transformation unlocks are permanent and may be used inside any city.

Transformations are ended when warping.

This is a purely cosmetic system, not obligatory to interact with by any means. But I thought it was neat and some people enjoy this kind of system!

This new NPC is located in Prontera,164,214, a bit north from Event Girl, and also in Zodiac Palace.

Star Seals:

Added the third and final enchants: Star Cluster of Strenght, Star Clusted of Luck, Star Cluster of Intelligence and Star Cluster of Resistance.

All enchants can go up to level 5 without fail chances and can be perfect enchanted to the player's picking.

Enchants for slots 2 and 3 are still random. 

----- SYSTEMS -----

Pet System:

Pets are back to being Equip-type items. They can still be double-clicked to be summoned/returned.

This was done to fix a current issue with Pet Evolution.

Added 4 new pets as possible rewards from Hall of Life level 10 and above:

Floral Pegasus;

Coral Marine;

Monarch Penguin;

Maple Tree.

The higher the level, higher the chance of acquiring one of the 4 Divine Beast eggs.

Costume rare drops:

We found a bug that prevented any of the costumes announced in the last update to actually drop.

This has been fixed and to make up for it, all costume drops from this system are doubled until next maintenance.

Vending System:

Our vending system got a beefy upgrade!

Players may now open up to 5 stalls each, each stall lasting for 2 weeks.

Players can also open 3 types of stalls:

- Vending Stall: The same stalls we had before, a clone of your character stands in place to sell your items;

- Buying Stalls: Finally! Stalls to purchase items from other players that might want to sell to you!

- Trading Stalls: Stalls designed for trading cards between one another! You type the item ID of the card you have and the item ID of the card you want, the shop's title and voila! Any player may open your stall and offer your desired card in the trade!

The system uses the same robust RODEX trade system, ensuring no players ever lose any of their beloved items.

This means once your stall expires or you cancel it, all your items are safely returned to your character via RODEX.

Any items acquired through this system will also be sent via RODEX.

To use this new system, all you have to do is talk to the new Market NPC in Prontera, who took the place of that shady dealer who sold merchant licenses. He will teleport you to the new market area.

Once inside, talk to the Stall Organizer NPC to open your stall or even to search stalls for specific items you are looking for!

The Stall Organizer will automatically look for a free cell closest to the center area for you! Free of charge!

(Due to client limitations, players are still required to select a cell for opening a stall, but that's merely a remnant of the system)

It cannot be tested in our beta environment so we will only know if it worked by Tuesday.

Fixed an issue with the Build Manager NPC.

Refine System:

Added the option to Grade to all other refining blacksmiths.

Added also the option to Auto Refine:

- Up to +7 for level 1-4 weapons and level 1 armors;

- Up to +10 for level 5 weapons and level 2 armors.

To preserve consistency for Auto refining and fixing a mistake I commited long ago, Level 2 armors now require Etherium from +1 up to +10.

Damage Reductions:

Garden of Time patch changed how reductions are applied, it seems they were incorrect before because right now they're mathematically correc to a tee.

However, power levels in a server without def/mdef ignore are not nearly as high as officials at this point, so we are changing how RES/MRES work.

RES/MRES are now only half as effective as the official formulas. Additionally, values above 1000 RES/MRES are only 25% effective.

Example: 1850 MRES now would be as effective as [500 (1000/2) + (850/4)] = 712 MRES.

Some monsters' resistances might be adjusted in the future to accomodate this change without falling down too much on difficulty.

Mount System:

Enabled @hidemount command.

Now Dragon Knights, Imperial Guards and even Windhawks are able to waltz around and enjoy mounted boosts while walking afoot!

Starbot:

Added Authoritative Badge to the Starbot list of support items.

If enabled, it will attempt to use one whenever the buff runs out.
