----- INSTANCES -----


Thanatos Tower instance has been added!

(Raid) Thanatos Tower has been added!


Challenge the powerful hero of the past Thanatos!

Corrupted, stricken by grief after being left alone in the tower for centuries. Thanatos awaits adventurers at the top of the tower.

Players may challenge him through the Story mode in order to craft and enchant their Good and Evil Weapons, Crowns and Shoes.

Or they may organize a group of powerful characters to challenge the fully-powered Thanatos in the Raid version of the instance!

The Raid version is a WEEKLY, brutal challenge where Thanatos is much more powerful and got many new tools added to his kit.


But this extreme difficulty doesn't come without extreme rewards!

Upon defeating Thanatos at the Raid version for the first time each week, players will acquire:

- Blacksmith Blessings;

- Large amounts of Zeny;

- Large amounts of crafting/enchanting materials for Good and Evil content.

- A brand-new enchant material for our special enchant for Good and Evil crowns, designed to bring this equipment to it's full potential;

- Exclusive Thanatos' pets;

- A very rare costume.


Additional raid clears with different characters within the same week won't receive additional rewards, but they do roll again for the card drops from the raid chest.

Raid cooldown ends at Saturday's reset.


----- ITEMS -----


Good and Evil equipment has arrived!

Memory of Thanatos has been changed to a blue card! It has a brand new effect and may be acquired in the new weekly Raid!

Memory of Thanatos card effect: Enchants compounded weapon with Investigate skill effect. Each attack drains 1 SP. DEF -30, Flee -30.

Memory of Thanatos card new effect: Increases SP consumption by 20%. Enchants compounded weapon with Spectral Touch. Spectral Touch gives physical and magical attacks a 50% chance to be affected by the enemy's lower defense (DEF or MDEF). When equipped with Absolution: Increases all damage vs all sizes by 25%.


Brand-new, custom enchant for Good and Evil Crowns: Absolution!

Absolution may be crafted using rare enchant materials from the raid. But once enchanted, it's sure to bring the true power of the hero who defeated Morroc himself!

Absolution: When equipped with specific Good and Evil weapons, gives +30% all damage and bonus damage to skills up to 50%! When combined with Good and Evil Shoes AND Weapons, increases damage vs all sizes, races and elements by 20%.

----- SYSTEMS -----


Good and Evil crafting/enchanting:

Players may craft and enchant their Good and Evil equipment with the NPC [Repentant Heretic] in Prontera Cathedral, in the same room as [Pious Alexander].


Added to Instance Manager:

Flush and Muqqadas refine hammers' descriptions have been corrected to reflect their costs.

Incorrect costs for said refine hammers have also been updated.

Flush Refine Hammer and Muqqadas Refine Hammer have been added as drops in their respective maps at a low rate.


Mizaa's Magic Tickets (Episode 20) have been added to the cash shop and event shop.

Power Twisted Plains have been added with their respective monsters and NPCs.


----- SKILLS -----


The following skills can now crit:

Thundering Cannon (Shinkiro/Shiranui);

Darkness Cannon (Shinkiro/Shiranui);

Adoramus (Archbishop).


----- SYSTEMS -----


Rune Systems:

Added the Rune Shop to the Great Astrolith NPC.

In this shop, you may trade Constellation Tower materials for Rune Tablet materials.

You may also trade 1500 Imperfect Runes for 1 Perfect Rune.

There's also the new Condensed Magic Rune Stone, which can be traded in the Rune Shop and can be dismantled for easier Perfect Rune acquisition.

We are aware of some expanded classes having outdated skill modifiers.

We will be tackling those during the next weeks.

Yorscalp's initial customization has started.

Drop rate for materials have increase slightly in Yorscalp 1 and a little more in Yorscalp 2.

You may also drop Gaebolg Equipment from monsters there.

These Gaebolg Equipment may be brought to Gaebolt Smelting Device in Lunaforma (mbase_in,212,123) to convert them into various materials useful for enchanting and creating Yorscalp equipment and crowns.

Monsters in Yorscalp dungeons have been reduced in quantity, but increased in power.

They may also drop Gaebolg Refine Hammers, Past Hero Fragment Boxes and even Ep21 Costume Boxes.

Fixed the issues with Final Battle and Ghost Ship not activating their cooldowns properly.

Also fixed a similar issue with the instance Cor Mission and Hey Sweety.

The following Star Aspects have been changed:

Soul Vulcan Strike: Combo: Reduces Telekinesis Intense cooldown by 120 seconds. -> Combo: Reduces Soul Vulcan Strike cooldown by 0.3 seconds. Casting Soul Vulcan Strike, Soul Expansion or Soul Strike reduces Telekinesis Intense cooldown by 3 seconds.

Soul Expansion: Combo: Reduces Telekinesis Intense cooldown by 120 seconds. -> Casting Soul Vulcan Strike, Soul Expansion or Soul Strike reduces Telekinesis Intense cooldown by 3 seconds.

Yes, they stack. Mathematically speaking, no, they are not required to be run together anymore.

Crimson Arrow: No combo. -> Combo (Green Light + Super Hot): Reduces Crimson Arrow cooldown by 0.1 seconds. Casting Crimson Arrow reduces Climax cooldown by 1 second.

Silvervine Hyunrok Breeze -> Hyunrok Breeze. Combo: Decreases Silvervine Stem Spear cooldown by 1 second. Casting Silvervine Stem Spear autocasts Level 7 Hyunrok Breeze. -> Combo: Reduces cooldown of Hyunrok Breeze by 4.5 seconds.

Varetyr Spear: Increases damage by 30/60/90/120/150%. -> 20/40/60/80/100%.

Hell's Drive: 20/40/60/80/100% -> 10/20/30/40/50%.

Meteor Storm Buster: 20/40/60/80/100% -> 10/20/30/40/50%.

Recognized Spell: Enables Recognized Spell Lv.1. -> Enables Recognized Spell Lv.1. Increases Recognized Spell cooldown by 20 seconds. If Recognized Spell is learned at Lv.2 or higher: Increases MATK by 30 per level of Recognized Spell learned.

Sonic Wave: Increases damage by 40/80/120/160/200%. -> 20/40/60/80/100%.

Shield Chain Rush: 30/60/90/120/150%. -> 10/20/30/40/50%.

Yorscalp Crowns:

Removed the RES/MRES ignore stat from their Grades.

Yorscalp Crown of Judgement bonuses now are:

[Grade C] bonus now is: Increases magic damage vs all element monsters by 10%.

[Grade A] bonus now is: Increases magic damage vs all size monsters by 10%.

Yorscalp Crown of Execution bonuses now are:

[Grade C] bonus now is: Increases physical damage vs all element monsters by 10%.

[Grade A] bonus now is: Increases physical damage vs all size monsters by 10%.

Mjolnir Underground Cave has been added with all its NPCs and monsters.

This also included the ability to craft and enchant Flush Weapons.

Acquisition of Einbech weapons has been made a little easier to ease the introduction to the new weapons.

Added a Shadow Chaser material seller to Prontera.

Added Episode 21 maps to Warper.

Jormungand Temple and Yorscalp warps leave you at their entrance. This is to avoid ignoring the requirements to access these dungeons.

Distorted Crescent: Duration 60/75/90/105/120 seconds. -> 600/750/900/1050/1200 seconds.


----- SYSTEMS -----


The initial implementation of the Channeling System has begun.

Players will be able to activate and deactivate the Channeling System by typing @channeling.

While on Channeling Mode, some skills will be automatically casted on the target monster or target area for 5 seconds.

Initially, the Channeling Mode will be enabled for the following skills:

Dragon Knight: Storm Slash and Sonic Wave;

Imperial Guard: Overslash, Radiant Spear;

Meister: Triple Laser, Spark Blaster;

Biolo: Cart Cannon, Mayhemic Thorns;

Shadow Cross: Cross Slash, Eternal Slash;

Abyss Chaser: Hit and Sliding, Abyss Flame;

The reason for such a select list is because this is the initial implementation only. We want to make sure everything suits the game and don't create issues before expanding it further. More skills will be added to this system as we continue.

Channeling Mode cannot be used in conjunction with Starbot due to redundancy.


Pet system:

Added the option to salvage multiples of the same egg.


----- WORLD BOSS -----


Removed the ability to memorize World Boss map and warp there without the NPC.

If you find any sorts of unintentional "reward farming", please notify the staff.


----- BUGFIXES -----


Removed all drops (including global drops) from Training Grounds instance map.

Fixed monsters from Episode 21 dropping the wrong or no cards.

Fixed description of Sekienhou Star Aspect.

Fixed Naght Sieger not moving when spawned.

Known issue: Hidden Card is not displaying it's buff icon. This is a limitation to our client and is yet to be fixed. The buff behaves properly, though.

False Angels can be tamed using a [Holy Promise], which may be carried by some holy creatures from the past.


Evolution Imp -> Ifrit: Reduced the amount of Flame Hearts from 500 to 100.

My mistake! I forgot physics exist, what is weight!?


----- SYSTEMS -----


Card Slotting:

You may now slot cards directly on top of each other! Doing so will remove the previous card from the selected slot and return it to you, while slotting the new one in its place!

This even works for Star Aspects! Everything just got much more practical!

You can now swap your cards on the fly, with much more room for planning and strategizing!

The Card Remover NPC is still available in case you need to remove all cards from your item for some reason.


Star System:

Star Aspects have been injected into the Enchant Interface!

You can now upgrade your Stars directly, no need to unslot them or do complicated trades!

This also means the Star System NPCs have been reorganized slightly.


Enchant Interface:

No longer fully closes after attempting to enchant, upgrade enchants or reset enchants.

Instead of now reopens itself after playing the enchant animations.


Dim Glacier Smelter:

No longer smelts Dim Glacier Weapons with any kind of enchant.

----- INSTANCES -----


Now you can join instances by accessing the Instance Manager UI!

It's located in your menu under your character statistics, and you may access any non-story instances from there for you and your party!

Instances from Episodes still require episode completion in order to be entered.


You may notice there are two buttons at the bottom of the Instance Manager UI:

Normal: The common, official instance.

Eclipse: Our harder, custom difficulty, monster have 99% damage reduction and deal 5x damage! But everything also has +50% Drop Rate to compensate. Entering Eclipse Mode costs one [Eclipse Key] which may be acquired from instance MVPs.


Clicking any of these buttons while in a Party and confirming will attempt to warp ALL PARTY MEMBERS into an instance, this will only work if all party members are not currently in cooldown for said instance.

Instances with an item requirement (Like Villa of Deception Advanced) still require their item in order to enter.


Currently, Eclipse Mode only has +50% Drop Rate but we will soon add custom and cosmetic drops exclusive to Eclipse Mode.


All these informations can be accessed by clicking the Tip button in the Instance Manager UI.

Unlocked the following pets and evolutions:

Baphomet;

Orc Hero;

Dark Lord;

Gloom Under Night;

Kiel D-01.


Added the following new pets and pet evolutions:

Marin -> Garm Baby, Aqua Elemental or Gazeti;

Garm Baby -> Garm;

Aqua Elemental -> Knight of Windstorm;

Gazeti -> Ktullanux;

Ashring -> Volcaring, Phantom Wolf or Fire Frilldora;

Volcaring -> Imp -> Ifrit;

Phantom Wolf -> Hot Molar -> Burning Fang;

Fire Frilldora -> Salamander -> Detardeurus.


Imp: Is no longer tameable directly.


Marin can be tamed with a [Juicy Fruit], which can be found with some colorful, big-billed birds in tropical jungles.

Ashring can be tamed with a [Cooling Crystal], collected as trinkets by denizens of very cold places.

Hornets (who can be evolved into Mistresses) can be tamed with a [Beehive Box], found with unlikely hobby-beekepers in Suei Long Gon.


All above pets, including new, custom ones, have their stats added into the DNA system and will provide them to your pets upon being DNA-spliced. They also have their original (or custom, in case of the custom ones) evolution costs added accordingly.

Autocasts no longer consume catalysts, SP or AP.

----- INSTANCES -----


- Sky Fortress:

 - Adjusted so the entrance is only done via Dimensional Rift.

 - The Warper now sends you to Dimensional Rift.


----- EVENTS -----


- Poring Hunter:

 - Starbot is no longer allowed inside the event.

 - Monster no longer leave loot behind.


- Event Shop:

 - Added the [Taming Gift Set] to the Event Shop.


----- PETS -----


- New pet system has arrived!


- You can now alter the DNA of your pets, adding bonus stats to your main pet using secondary pets!

- Each pet can have up to 4 DNA splices at maximum quality! This means your pet can have 4 times as much attributes!

- DNA splicing is completely harmless and will not affect your pet's health! It can even be reversed at will!

- Pets can be upgraded through Genetic Tiers: Basic, Advanced, Superior and Apex. Each Genetic tier allows for more DNA capacity.

- *Your summoned pet no longer gives passive stats.* All stats are now decided by their spliced DNA.

- This also means you may use the pet that better suits your style, or a Super-Poring!

- This system also comes with a few changes to the base system:

 - Intimacy no longer drops and is intead fixed at Loyal. No more fleeing pets!

 - Pet hunger now decays from 100% to 0% through the span of 24 hours. Meaning you got to feed your pets at least once a day!

 - Pet hunger now only affects the bonus stats given by your pet. If your pet is under 20% hunger, it may refuse to help you until you feed it!

 - All pets can be autofed now. Also all pets now eat Pet Food.


- Genetic Material may be acquired by "salvaging" unwanted pet eggs.

- Genetic Material can be used to upgrade your pet through Genetic Tiers or to acquire some pet-related items.


- This system may be accessed at the Genetic Guild in Lighthalzen or simply by speaking to the Warper -> Special Areas -> Pet Area.


----- WORLD BOSS -----


- Increased effectiveness of Lunar Beacons at lower levels.


*We have been observing the Unknown Darkness is either instantly killed or unkillable. We will adjust the Lunar Beacons to be more effective when there's less people around.*


----- BUG FIXES -----


- Adventurer's Guide is no longer bugged!

 - It's still kinda outdated, though. We will be updating it with information about the server soon!

##### SOMEWHAT EARLY PATCH NOTES 02/10/2026 ##### ----- INSTANCES -----

  • Sky Fortress:
  • Removed the requirement for tickets in order to start the instance.
  • Fall of Glast Heim:
  • Removed the Story mode.

----- DUNGEONS -----

  • Illusion Dungeons:
  • Removed the mechanics to spawn all Illusion Dungeon MVPs.
  • Now all Illusion Dungeon MVPS have a 2-hour spawn time.
  • Illusion of Luanda:
  • Now has both monster types spawned, no longer requiring you to kill an MVP in order to change the monsters.

----- NPCs -----

  • Added a new NPC [Bond Recycler] next to all Reputation NPCs that will trade your bound Tier3 equipment from Reputation Rewards into Reputation Coins.

----- WORLD BOSS ----- There's something weird happening in the night sky! I swear I could see shadows moving on the moon!

  • Added new World Boss: Unknown Darkness!
  • After a randomly-selected amount of monsters are defeated globally, the darkness in the moon stirs!
  • Varmundt will appear in Prontera to teleport players there in order to fight the threat.

  • Mechanics:
  • As the time passes, the Unknown Darkness grows bigger and stronger;
  • Players may operate Lunar Beacons around the arena in order to fire weakening beams of light to reduce it's mass and size.
  • Coordination is required for this, however! A Lunar Beacon by itself doesnt do anything, they must be operated in pairs!
  • Players must coordinate to activate the Lunar Beacons at the same time, activating two will fire a small beam, while activating all 6 at the same time will strip the Unknown Darkness to it's core, leaving it extremely vulnerable!
  • Upon operating all 6 Lunar Beacons, the Lunar Cannons may be fired, each dealing 10% of the Unknown Darkness' Max Health per shot.
  • Upon activation, Lunar Cannons will go dormant until the 6 Lunar Beacons are activated correctly again.

  • If one hour passes without being defeated, the Unknown Darkness will attempt to engulf the moon, becoming too dangerous to fight. This marks the failure of the event.
  • If defeated, a Reward Chest spawns in the middle of the map for 60 seconds, rewarding all participating players.
  • Currently the rewards include only Event Coins, but more are planned to be added.

This marks the initial implementation of a World Boss system to our server. It's still very early in testing and we want to see how you deal with it so we may adjust it further. Balancing may be off at first, but we will refine it with time. ----- REFINING -----

  • Added a new confirmation window when attempting to refine without Blacksmith Blessings.
  • Clicking "Refine" without Blacksmith Blessings will prompt a big red message in the chat window. Clicking "Refine" again quickly will proceed to refine without using Blacksmith Blessings.
  • This will prompt a "Failure Window", but won't cost any materials or Zeny. The actual refine will only happen upon confirming. This is due to a game limitation to the refine system.
  • This whole system will NOT appear if you ARE using Blacksmith Blessings or are doing a refine without a Break Chance (Up to +7 for Lv4 and below Weapons and Lv1 Armors, Up to +10 for Lv5 Weapons and Lv2 Armors, also for Star Elunium and Star Oridecon uses)

----- SYSTEMS -----

  • Monster Information:
  • Added a new system to show Race and Element information above monsters' names.
  • This includes a custom icon for every monster based on their Race and Element.

----- PATCHER -----

  • We got a new patcher!
  • This new patcher is more sophisticated and less prone to bugs.
  • This also comes with the added benefit of correctly opening the game upon clicking "Game Start".
  • Download for the new patcher will be available with the new update.
